Lily had a real treat the other day at Grandma Thomas' house. She was looking longingly into the pot of chili that my mom was making, so we decided to let her have a taste.
Surprisingly, she loved it! She couldn't stop licking her fingers and kept looking at the pot like she wanted more. When my mom tried to wipe her hands clean, she tried to protect the precious chili on them and cried in objection. It was finger-licking good!
After her brief taste of "grown-up" food, Lily tried to devour some goldfish crackers, but couldn't quite chew through the paper bag. Darn! Maybe this is a sign that she wants to start eating something more than just her mother's milk.

That is so funny she liked the chili. Maybe soon she can have those goldfish crackers. Maybe she is teething??? She is so adorable. I love her eyes.
